Supermodel and Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins posed clothless and confident for the February 2010 issue of the Marie Claire (Australia) magazine photographer David Gubert. The most important thing about the clothless picture of Jennifer is that her body is so natural that team Marie Claire didn’t have to re-touch the images shot by David. This was done not only to encourage positive attitudes to body imaging but also to support the Butterfly Foundation whose vision is To live in a world that celebrates health, well-being and diversity.
Jennifer not only revealed how she maintains her amazing body but also the pressure she underwent during Miss Universe 2004 competition and rising to fame in an exclusive five page feature on her. Jennifer admitted that she could have never done such kind of a shoot two years ago.
“I would have been worried about what people thought, whether it was the right decision – a thousand different things… But over the past year and a half I’ve grown into myself, and I’m more confident and comfortable within the modeling industry. I did it for the experience… It felt quite sensual and sexy. I felt empowered”, says Jennifer Hawkins.
Naturally fit Jennifer also revealed that she is dating Jake Wall & is planning to move in with him in the coming year and that to keep her body fit she has to go through regular exercises and a balanced diet. Jen says that she’s no different than others and that she has also experienced highs & lows.
An excerpt: “Jen’s resilence has certainly proved lucrative. Deals with Myer and lingerie brand Lovable, among others, have helped push her earnings into the millions (in September last year, she signed a new $5 million, four-year deal as the face of Myer – about $42,000 a day for 30-day annual commitment). But she’s also worked hard for her success – including keeping her body in great condition.”
